Planned Trapping Areas
Our goal is to give native wildlife a better chance to thrive, in our neighbourhood. Most of us probably live on the edge or within view of the Port Hills, an area that is regenerating with lots of hard work (!) and the birds are returning. To live or play in these spaces is very special.
The project starts with around 40 hectares of wetland and regenerating habitat (managed by Christchurch City Council 3-Waters) with the long-term goal of extending predator control across the 358-hectare Christchurch Adventure Park.

Proposed Traplines of the Cracroft Pest Patrol
A trapline is a collection of traps, typically 10-20, that you can check within 45-90 minutes. Note that this is a general overview of the area and representative of where our traplines will be located. Final trap locations and lines may be considerably different to that that planned.
